200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar

200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish

Directions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Place all the components in a pan, bring to a gentle boil, agitating so the sugar melts. After that, remove from the burner allowing it to cool down completely. Pour into an sterilised bottle, seal and store in the fridge, it can be stored for up to one month.
For the Cocktail Base: Mix the specified spirits and syrup into a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for an hour, then pass it through best through a fine cloth, to ensure it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of the cocktail base into your cocktail shaker packed with ice, gently stirring carefully for a minute to chill. Filter into a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, garnish with some cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a light spray of mandarin oil over the top.
